MAJOR FUNCTION:

1. Perform production activities as outlined in company policies and work instructions.
2. Conduct quality inspections on parts and press equipment inspections.
3. Follow 3C 5S on the production floor.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Operate machines assigned individually to perform production activities.
2. Follow work standards and team leader’s or supervisor’s instructions.
3. Conduct visual self-quality inspections on parts during production activities.
4. Conduct daily equipment inspection and perform basic record keeping.
5. Comply to safe work practices and make sure all required PPE are prepared.
6. Maintain clean and orderly working environments.
7. Focus on Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
8. Conduct rework activities and defect tracking processes.

 

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:

1. High School diploma / GED
2. Experience in a manufacturing environment.
3. Ability to read and follow written instructions.
4. Demonstrated attention to detail and experience with precise work.
5. Able to distinguish between quality and defective work results.
6. Excellent hand and eye coordination.
7. Able to lift objects weigh more than 50 lbs occasionally.

 

Organizational Relationships:

1. Accountable to the Production Press Team Leader or Supervisor for all phases of activities.
2. Advises, consults, and coordinates with: New Production Press Team Member
